AXON expands its operations in Spain through a strategic alliance with Seville-based consultancy AOM

The alliance strengthens AXON’s local capabilities in Spain and enables the firm to support companies from Latin America and the United States seeking to expand into Europe with a single communications and marketing partner on both sides of the Atlantic.

AXON marketing+communications, an Integrated Marketing Communications firm with more than 20 years of experience across the Americas, and AOM Comunicación y Marketing, a Spanish consultancy specializing in corporate reputation and crisis management, have formalized a strategic alliance to expand AXON’s operational capabilities, team, and reach in the Spanish market.

The alliance does not mark AXON’s entry into a new market. The firm has already been developing projects in Spain and, through this agreement, will now have a permanent local structure, supported by AOM’s teams in Seville and Madrid and its expertise in corporate communications, crisis management, content, inbound marketing, and GEO positioning.

For AXON, the agreement also strengthens its presence in Andalusia, a region with significant business and commercial ties to Latin America.

One partner to operate across both sides of the Atlantic

International expansion is not simply about transferring a strategy from one market to another. Media landscapes, decision-making cycles, institutional stakeholders, commercial dynamics, and audience expectations vary from one country to the next.

For Latin American and U.S. companies looking to expand into Europe, having local capabilities can therefore make a difference from the earliest stages of entering a new market.

“Our clients are not asking us for presence; they are asking us for execution. We were already working in Spain, but this alliance expands our permanent local capabilities: professionals who understand the media, regulators, and institutional stakeholders in that market. For a Latin American or U.S. company looking toward Europe, that means taking the right steps on the ground from day one,” says Carlos Trelles, Director for the Americas at AXON marketing+communications.

The model addresses a specific need: avoiding the complexity of coordinating different providers in each market. AXON and AOM will work under a single account team, with local execution in the markets where each firm has its own teams.

This approach allows companies to maintain a coordinated strategy across the Americas and Europe while adapting execution to the specific dynamics of each market.

Integrated communications for new markets

The collaboration operates under AXON’s Integrated Marketing Communications model, which brings together public relations, brand positioning, content, digital performance, institutional relations, and artificial intelligence applied to audience research, content production, and results measurement.

AXON’s experience includes projects for organizations across sectors such as tourism, trade and investment, technology and telecommunications, logistics and foreign trade, healthcare, and medical devices, with clients including PromPerú, ProChile, PromArgentina, Zoho, PayU, Microsoft, Nokia, Yango, eBay, Air France KLM Group, GSK, and MSD.

AOM, meanwhile, brings more than a decade of experience from Spain in strategic and corporate communications, brand reputation, crisis management, inbound marketing, SEO positioning, and content creation for national and international organizations.

“For a decade, we have been building from Seville and Andalusia toward the world, with a focus on reputation and crisis management. This alliance allows us to support our clients in the Americas with teams on the ground while also putting our Spanish structure at the service of companies entering Spain,” says Andrés Ortiz Moyano, Founder and CEO of AOM Comunicación y Marketing.

The agreement will allow AOM to support projects requiring specific capabilities in Spain, while AXON will make its teams in the United States and Latin America available to companies requiring execution in those markets.

A more connected operation between the Americas and Europe

With this alliance, AXON strengthens an international structure that currently operates with its own teams across 10 countries and 24 cities and has received more than 20 international awards, including the Americas SABRE Awards, Golden IPRA World Award, and Premios Eikon Internacional.

Founded in Seville in 2015, AOM is headquartered in the city and also has an office in Madrid.

The alliance therefore strengthens a proposition designed for companies that need more than an international presence: a team capable of connecting strategy, communications, and local execution across the markets where they want to grow.
